The peristaltic principle is based on the pressure of two or three rotating rollers which gradually compress a tube. The alternating compression and decompression of the tube generates a depression and consequently a continuos forcing of the fluid and a constant incoming flow. The product inside the tube is transferred intact without suffering the slightest damage.
Advantages
- no contact between product and pump.
-reverse flow by reversing motor
- maintenance for tubular only
-self priming
-pumping of heterogeneous products with solid suspended matter
- precise metering of the product
- possibility of c.I.P. Disinfecting
- can run dry without damage
- the shear line prevents the milling effect
